The high precision GPS wireless digital speedometer is designed to be a true speed indicator, displaying 15mm high LCD numbers for maximum eye comfort. The unit has a 22 hour battery life making it perfect for use all day long. The unit features Four digits of a very large size to display accurate GPS speed. The colour of the display can be green or orange depending on the state of GPS reception. The unit will only display speeds once the vehicle travels above 5 km/h or 5mph dependant on your preference (this can be user changed within the settings). The GPS Digital wireless speedometer has a reception indicator for GPS Satellites. Beyond three bars, reception is good. When the device is searching for a signal a single bar scans from left to right. This indication directly affects the speed measurement precision, the more bars you can see the more reliable the reading. Battery life is 22 hours approximately, it is designed to display a battery charge indication each time the device is plugged into your PC or USB charger. The internal battery will charge on connection and the indicator will get brighter to show the state of charge. When the battery is low the indicator will flash to show the state of low power. A USB car charger is included with the device. This GPS Speedo comes with a windscreen suction holder in order for you to mount the speedometer in the window. Placing the device on the windscreen keeps your eyes on the road without the need to focus on the usual speedometer needle. Before installation clean the area of your windscreen and the suction cup to ensure a good seal to the window. Different displays may appear on your GPS unit, on startup the WDS Speedometer will search for GPS satellites, displaying “Srch” on the screen. The satellite status bar will move from left to right. The display colour will be orange. Once it has found a signal the WDS will provide your vehicle speed from 5km/h or 5 mph upwards, the display will change to green.
